MARCY VOYEVOD

Marcy's kitchen designs have been featured on fundraising tours including Ecole Bilingue, the Children's Support Group in Piedmont, and the Rockridge Kitchen Tour. In 2002, she designed a guest bath for the San Francisco Decorator Showcase. Her designs have also been shown in Sunset magazine, the Contra Costa Times, and in books such as Before and After Kitchen Makeovers (Sunset Publishing) and Remodeled Kitchens and Baths, by Tina Skinner and Melissa Cardona. She also is one of the writers for the "Design Dilemmas" column in the San Francisco Chronicle.

Marcy Voyevod brings a rich artistic and creative background to her work as a residential designer. She has a BFA degree in Interior Design from the Maryland Institute, College of Art, and has also studied clothing design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Prior to starting her own interior design business in 1991, she worked with Carlene Anderson Kitchen Design, Mueller Nicholls, and San Francisco commercial design firms.

Marcy offered pro bono support to the design review committee for the West Alameda Business Association's streetscape project. She and her husband, Tim Englert, restored their Craftsman bungalow in Alameda and are currently at work renovating a vintage Streamline trailer for use as their home office.

Marcy is an accomplished artist, and has exhibited her paintings and altars in many local shows and galleries. She has also created commissioned tile mosaics for her residential design projects.
